Darko Juranovic D’Knock is a record producer, songwriter, artist and owner of the D’Knock Production record label. He is also a member of the music duo D’Knock & Jay, one of the founding members of the group PlayOne, a former member of the ultra- popular Croatian band ET, as well as a Chief Brand Officer (CBO) of Jürgen Höller Academy and co-founder of the video production company JMJ Factory.

Recognized for his versatility and visionary approach, D’Knock has built a career that bridges music production, branding, media, and creative strategy. Throughout his international work, he has collaborated with some of the most respected names in the global music industry, including Simply Red, Simple Minds, Barbara Tucker, Grammy Award– winning producer Andy Wright, Mick Hucknall, DJ Spen, Eddie Amador, Dany Cohiba, Peter Grant, Amrick Channa, and others.

His production duo PlayOne (D’Knock & DJ Fresh Jay) earned significant recognition through a wide catalogue of singles, remixes, releases, tours, and international collaborations — joined by longtime associate Zvonimir Dusper Dus. In 2016, PlayOne was chosen by Andy Wright to co-create new versions of Simple Minds’ 12 greatest hits, produced in honor of the legendary band’s 40th anniversary.

D’Knock began his career in the early ’90s as a member of the iconic Croatian group Electro Team (ET), before fully transitioning into music production under his own artistic identity. He went on to collaborate with leading Croatian and regional artists such as Nina Badrić, Tony Cetinski, Dino Dvornik, Ilan Kabiljo, Divas, Cubismo, Bolesna Braća, as well as Macedonian stars Kaliopi and the late Toše Proeski.

In 2017, together with his wife Jelena Juranović Jay, he founded the music duo D’Knock & Jay, releasing several successful singles and performing extensively across the region.

Beyond the music scene, D’Knock has produced commercial jingles and audio branding for major local and global brands in collaboration with leading marketing agencies. In 2019, he took on the role of Chief Brand Officer and Producer at Jürgen Höller Academy (Germany), where he led creative direction, branding strategy, and high-level media production.

Today, as the founder and director of D’Knock Production & Partners, Darko continues to expand his creative impact across music, branding, media production, digital strategy, and artist development — establishing himself as one of the region’s most influential multidisciplinary creators.

Jelena Juranović Jay is a professional voiceover artist with 18 years of experience recording a wide range of audio content — including commercials, interactive toys, e-learning modules, documentary narration, IVR prompts for call centers, audiobooks, and movie trailers.

She has recorded voiceovers for many prominent international and regional brands such as Sony Playstation, Fisher Price, Mattel, Milka, Philips, Nestlé, Jamnica, Ledo, Podravka, Dukat, and many more, and has voiced a wide range of animated series, children’s programs, and interactive toys.

With more than 25 years of experience in the music industry, Jelena has performed as a backing vocalist for many of the leading Croatian and regional stars, appearing on major concerts, tours, TV shows, and festivals. She performed at the Eurovision Song Contest four times, as a backing vocalist for the artists representing Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia & Herzegovina.

As the lead vocalist of the music duo D’Knock & Jay, formed together with her husband Darko Juranović D’Knock, she has released several successful singles and continues to perform actively.

Jelena is the CEO and founder of JMJ Factory, a creative division of D’Knock Production specializing in voiceover, dubbing, video production, and branding support. Together with D’Knock, she operates a fully equipped audio-video studio, providing professional recording, mixing, mastering, and post-production services — with over a decade of experience in video editing as part of her creative work.

D’Knock Production & Partners collaborates with a wide network of leading studios, production teams, digital specialists, videographers, photographers, sound engineers, designers, and marketing professionals.
